TBR Recommends…

What up readas!?!? It is time yet again for some recommend reading by TBR. Hope ya’ll enjoy. Blessings!

Thought Thinking Itself?: Christianity and Logic– This is an article written by Scott Oliphint who is professor of apologetics at Westminster Theological Seminary and blogger at Reformation21. I found this article to be helpful and actually easy to read, which is usually not the case with anything involving theologians/philosophers and logic! Anyway, I hope you check this out because it can be used for some greater insight into our apologetic approach.

Why We Should Reexamine the Faith of Barack Obama– I originally foundthis article at Credo Magazine, but then it linked me to the fuller story at Christianity Today’s website. Since everything is heating up with the coming election, I thought that this article added some fuel to the flame and is actually an interesting read. I think that the insight that the article provides can be helpful in considering the worldview of our President. Perhaps the most important thing to take away from this article, even if you do not agree with it, is that it is vitally important to consider with a biblical lense what our leaders say and do, and then match it with Scripture.
